Pan de Muerto

Mexico has a tradition that fall right around Halloween called the day of the dead. You might have heard about it from Nate's last letter.
It's basically a day to honor past ansestors and one classic tradition is to make pan, this kind of sweet bread.
Ruth and I started around 9 ish, but didn't realize how long it would take for this bread to rise. I think it was past midnight when we finally pulled the last loaf out of the oven. Good stuff though! Despite the fact that we left out the cream and orange juice... next time will be even better! We are definitely gonna make this stuff again. Tis muy delicioso!!
