Universal Studios!

My mom is amazing at finding great deals, even for amusement parks. She managed to find a deal that gave us 3 days at Universal Studios for less than the price of 1.
We knew we would be going here because all of us kids pitched in on this event, even though my mom was able to wheel and deal, it's still pretty expensive for a total of 7 people. (Yes, poor J'bers had to miss this trip, he's up in Provo studying hard, while we're pulling kids out of school and playing in California. Oh and Nate was the one taking this picture so he's not shown)

I have always enjoyed this theme park. You never know what is real and what is not. For instance, the figure in the statue above, the one with both hands on his hips... ya, he's actually human; and boy did he have a fun time making me look stupid! As we were standing there, figuring things out for the day, out of the corner of my eye I see the supposed statue man stand up a little straighter and fidget a little. I grab the person nearest me, which happened to be my dad, and laughed excitedly, "Whoa, did you see that guy just move?"
D: "Who? That guy?" (pointing)
K: "Yeah, he just stood up! Didn't you see him move?"
And... of course he doesn't move again! But it got all of us looking really close and leaning in. Gosh, thanks a lot mister... making me look like i'm seeing things. haha, it was funny though. We started walking away and as we looked back, we saw him moving like a robot then freeze again. Most of us saw it so i wasn't worried about taking another picture to prove it to them. :)
Lots to do and see! I could boor you all with the details and things we learned but then, that would be a travel log, not a blog post. :) So from here i just have leave you a very high referral to someday go and visit Universal Studios and experience the magic yourself!
Oh, and if your planning on going anytime soon, remember to sign up for the all day, unlimited food pass. It's SOOOooo... worth what you pay for it. We ate our money's worth x 2 !
