Insane amount of dead growth, that's only half a load! Not even that!~
Grapefruit war! Hey, as long as it get's in the trailer, we're still working! :)
Saturday morning 10:00 am
Today we herded the family then tackled the bacyard. It really needed to be done; the trees were getting bushy, the bushes were growing in weird directions, and as you can quite see, most of the bushes were half dead or dying, all because of a tremedous frost we had early January this year. It killed all our plants and they never grew back. :( So sad, it was really quite pretty. So we took them all out. It was quite a job. It took a couple solid hours just to destroy the backyard, then a couple others to clean it up. We took two trips to the dump. I was surprised, there was so much to dump but they stomped on it really good to fit it all in. It's a good experience. I think i wrote about one other time we did this as a family in my journal when i was like, 8. I was so frusterated and didn't want to work. I'm pretty sure I drew a greusome picture below it showing us struggling to haul sticks and branches, with sweat poring off our faces and scratches all over us. :) So funny, i'll have to look that page up again. :) Luckly, now that i'm a "bit" taller and stronger i can help a lot more. :) Goes by faster, although i do believe while Nate was on the roof throwing fruit at us, i was doing his part. :) I'll make him his fair share. Actually, we're still not done. I'm writing this inbetween a trip to the dump. Did you know AC is a blessing from a divine being? So hot outside. Hey, work is good for the soul! If that's true, then i'm a saint! :)
