Saturday night i had a date with a good friend. We grabbed some Tia Rosa Take out then went to Mountain View Park for a picnic. So much fun. We ate, played random card games, threw around a light up frisbee, grabbed some ice cream, etc. Doing whatever we pleased! It was really quite fun. Well here comes the most random part. :)
Well, we had a half hour to kill before curfew so we tried coming up with ideas. Christine, my good buddy suggested that we go to Walmart, pick up one grape, just one, and see how much it cost. :) So we did! Keeping a straight face, we go to the cash register and ask to buy one grape. She must have been new cuz she was very by the book. :) She picked it up, smilied and said, "oh how cute". (We had it in a shopping cart, in a bag, and tied together with a twisty tie, oh so normal!) :) Anyways, she rings it up like she would with any other produce, weights it... and "Invaild Weight" pops up on the screen! So funny! We were dying in the background. How funny this looks.... four grown teenagers, huddle around the register, purchasing just one single grape! :) So the register didn't know what to do! She called over one other person who busted a gut when she saw what we were purchasing! She said keep it and "If you wanted a grape you should've just asked!" Such a pointless timewaster, but so fun to do!
Well, once was not enought! We ran over to Fry's this time and did it again. :) I caught this one on video with my camera phone so it's not very good but it still get's the point across. :) This register was a little old lady, (my friend walked up with a $20 in her hand) she laughed so hard when she saw the grape in the bag. She said "I don't even know what kind of grape this is!" (it was red). She too weighted it and "Too Heavy to Weight" popped up :) She just about died laughting and gave us the grape. :)
All in all, a well planned out date! :)
