Things are looking up... AGAIN!

Today was truly just another "great day here at BYU-ID" (Pres. Clark).

Bro. Delton emailed me today asking if i would be interested in becoming his T.A.! (Yippee #1)

I said i'd be very interested and he requested a brief meeting an hour or so later. During the said meeting i told him i was still trying to get into the neuro lab but haven't heard back from Bro. Ekersell, He silences me by holding a finger up, calls the helps desk, and about two seconds later had him on the phone insisting that i be put into the research program, saying i was "one of the department's brightest" (Score #2). Walla! I'm in (let's hope, the final say of who's in is announced next week, but i'd say i have a running chance).

He tells me more about the T.A. position. Unfortunately due to the shortage of funds, it can't be a paid position, but he can offer me credit (aka, an easy A) that can help boost not only my CV/Resume and letter of recommendation, but GPA as well. (Fist pump #3).

THEN....

On top of all that he proceeds to tell me that not only would i be grading assignments and assisting him, but he's looking to get me involved in doing research for the school! (Celebration #4!!) Can this day get any sweeter?! The study skill department of the school is curious as to the effect of their current adverting design is effecting the students. Essentially, I'd be helping the marketing department that's directly associated with the psych department. Boo Yeah!!

Yeah, i'm WAY excited.

This just added a tremendous amount of emphasis, strength, and gold stars to my grad school applications.

Life couldn't be better.

Oh, i got to visit Ray-ray and Paul today in their cute new apartment. So fun!! Can't believe it's almost been two whole weeks since their wedding! On a side note, we miss our wonderful Emily. The life, heart, and soul of the party. Come back and visit soon darling! We miss you!
