So, after a strenous night of study and taking a midterm- i get to drop everything, and go to work!! sound crazy? nope. Cuz today we get dress up! (and anyone who knows me can testify how much fun i have with that) Had a blast! (Though i must clarrify here i really do love my job every day of the week, not just today... it's great to be in the elite class of cash registers). Had so much fun there, handing out candy and getting funny looks. We even had a dancing bear in the walkway advertising the Midnight 5K.
Had class (where my teacher surprised us with no flash quiz!! Yes! so not prepared for that one), helped served at an elementary school carnival for most of the afternoon. Then went to the libary's work party (haha, lots of work fun in this post). Now i'm sure your thinking... Work party? Wow, Kacie. Rexburg is severly limited in their forms of so called "entertainment".
Haha, no really! This had to be one of my most FAVORITE parties ever!!
Why?
So when someone suggested we play sardines and hide-go-seek, wooooo...(shiver) you can imagine the excitement.
All three floor = fair game.
I thought i knew the library...
...but this girl showed me some seriously good hiding spots!
Funny story: We had the PERFECT hiding spot. We started talking and catching up (midterms had parted us for simply TOO long) and i made the comment, "Ya know, the only way they'd be able to find us is if we keep talking." Sure enough, 5 minutes later we were found. Drats! was funny though. Gotta keep our mouths shut. It's a QUIET game.
Topped the night off with a hilarious and frightfully suspensful old movie in one of the meeting rooms. There's a reason Em and I sat next to each other... to grab one other in the most dire parts of the movie!!! Ahhhh! Just say'n-Organ music will never have the same flair after that movie.
All in all it was like a childhood dream come true. Haven't you ever wanted to be "locked" in a store? Library is proablly the closest i'll get and let me tell you... it's the most fun I've ever had!
