So after countless hours of drawing and toilling with this class, i'm finally getting the proportions right!
Here is just a few of my many, MANY sketches and head drawings. I've moved onto lots of better pieces but just so you can get a taste for what i'm doing, here's some of my work.
(5 minutes warm ups)
(1 hour 45 minutes, focus on shadows and lights)
(weekend assignment, who knows how many hours... practice with white charcol and proportions and drawing from a photo reference)

Wow, look at you blogging away! I loved reading all these recent posts, but this one of some of your artwork blew me away. Seriously?! You are improving SO much, and I thought you were a really talented artist to start with. These are so compelling. You have such a bright future in art!
