Meet Colin :)

Ok, so as most of you have found out by know, yes i am dating someone. (Definition of Dating: the point where it's more than just a friend, yet not quite boyfriend/girlfriend... does that make sense?) That someone just happens to be Mr. Colin McKay.
He is an amazing guy! So easy to talk to, we've spent several hours just talking, playing board games, or swinging on the playset/jumping on the trampoline. He's an amazing communicator, so fun to be around. Ya, i like him, can you tell? Call for the details.

So where did we meet? Idaho actually. He came through my cashier line and somehow we both found out we're from Mesa, which of course sparked the interest. He came through again and asked me on a date. And later on, asked me to the Midnight Summer Ball which was so fun because we both know how to dance! Well, he actually knows more country waltz stuff and i know the ballroom, so we were able to combine and conquer which lead to a very fun evening.
(Somewhere in there i come to discover that i know his sister, Heather McKay, back in Mesa. She's a Jackrabbit yet had a ton of mountain view friends- including me!)
We hung out a little and figured once finals were over and we were both back in Mesa, we should hang out sometime and left it at that.

Fast forward 2 weeks

The day he got here for summer was the same day i got back from Apache Lake, In checking my missed calls, i was suprised to see that he calls me and invites me to a YSA activity that night over at Brimhall Pool (Oh, FYI, he's in Heather Hakes's Stake and lives right in that area to Gary and Lisa. Heather doesn't know him but recognized his sister) Went to that then soon got another invitation to hang out the next night, and the next night... which lead to us spending time together every day for over a week now. :)

It's been great getting to know him.
What's nice with him, is that he doesn't change who is is to try and impress me, which is VERY refreshing! He hopes to become just like his father, who is a Pediatrist (foot doctor). He has GREAT values, been home from his mission for approximately 6 months now, and is just a good example of the kind of man i want to date... which is were we are at now coincidentally!

As i am writing this he is actually playing over in California with his cousins for a few days. He comes back tonight around midnight and i am so anxious to see him again tommorrow! 3 days is just too long!

All in all, it's still a pretty new development.
More updates soon! ;)
