Well, i think it's just about offical now, i have to purchase a new laptop. :( Does anyone have any great advice at what's out there right now. Reminder, a poor college student is asking this question. Anyone know where i can look for a good computer at a reasonable price? Money's tight! But it's kind of a necessity. Ah well, life happens right?

I am sorry about your laptop. More sorry than I am about your relationshiop woes because I mostly think you should just feel flattered! :) I asked my brother, who has a degree in IT and recently got a computer, what laptop he would recommend for a college student on a budget. He said dell, b/c they're most affordable for a good name. He also suggested considering a refurbished one. Didn't say a specific model, but said to check dell.com/outlet. Good luck!
