This mother's day, I'd like to thank my mother for the wonderful example she is to me.
10 things why my mom's amazing.
1. She's always there for me and gives me advice that i really listen to and respect.
2. She's a great teacher! I've learned significant life lessons just by watching her. She leads her life in a way that i admire and what to apply to my own life. I don't even know if she knows this, but yes mom, you're just that good!
3. She's an amazing multitasker! I've seen her juggle 8 different schedules, and still have time to come home and cook dinner and ask us each about our day. I love you mom!
4. She has a very strong and firm testimony of this gospel and took every opportunity to teach us. She tries to always keep the spirit in our home and frankly, she's succeeded. Our home was always a safe haven for me, and still is. I love coming home where the spirit resides and i have parents that love each other, us, and the Lord.
5. She's very open, willing to listen to all my life's concerns. It's such a comfort while I'm away from home, that she's just a mere phone call away!
6. My mom loves to have fun! I've inherited her enthusiasm for good, solid, clean fun. None of this sit down and watch TV every night, though there is always a time and place for that; but her love of nature and the outdoors, card games around the table, random road trips, and outings, whenever we're together as a family- that's when memories are made.
7. She's willing to sacrifice for the success of her children. Whether it be time or money, she's willing to go through whatever she can for the success of her children. I've seen her take a few extra days at work just so that we can have that little extra money to put the boys through sports camps, or put me through art classes. It's a sacrifice that i recognize and thank her for now. I love you!
8. She's taught me the value of bargain shopping! Yes, i do get harassed sometimes for that one but it's a very smart thing to learn. Thank you!
9. She's just as much a part of my life as when i was young. She still celebrates with me when i call her after a critic or when I'm excited over an opportunity that comes my way! She's the one i WANT to call first! She's my best friend and i love her.
10. She is an honest, hardworking, intelligent, woman who i am proud to call mom. I couldn't have asked for a better woman to call that honorable title while here on earth. Thank you mom, really, thank you for everything!

Wow, Kacie, what a nice tribute. Pam, you're an example to me too of an amazing mom. I can only hope that down the road my girls will feel a portion of the love and admiration that Kacie has for you.
That first picture of you is especially gorgeous!
