F.D. Update- Male figure




Wow! What a relief to draw a male! The female figure is all very graceful with curves and such but you never get to see the defined muscles that a man has. Plus the male figure has a lot more angles and points rather than swoops and curves, so much more entertaining to draw! My teacher saw a great improvement this day, says my figures have a lot more solidity to them and they're more accurate to life. Still have a long way to go but oh, i hope we get more men to draw! Their muscles are fun!

Funny Note: After the class i immeadiately start my shift in the Nordic, and the model from class came in to get lunch. Felt funny to see him elsewhere, when he was modeling in shorts for us just a few minutes ago. We both had a good laugh over that one when he came through my line!
