Figure Drawing

So starting out in this figure drawing class i was terrified! The body has so many twists and curves and muscles and shapes, there is so many different ways of getting that down on paper i was a little overwhelmed. So yesterday was my first attempt ever at drawing the human figure acurately and i think i did ok. Certainly for never having drawn the body with such precise detail and accuracy.

So i labeled each page so you can see my progession in just the first day (2 hours 45 min).
1-3 are 5 minute timed drawings.
4-5 are 15 minute timed drawings.

#4 i think is my personal best of the day one. I had a weird angle of the model for #5 so it didn't turn out as nice as i'd like.

Below is just an update of my painting. It's really coming along. The picture is a little blurry so imagine clean crisp edges and that's somewhat how my painting looks right now. :)
