It's 10-15 minutes before closing time at work.
(I'm a cashier at the school food court)
I'm ringing up customers and chatting with them as i exchange money with them.

A cute guy comes through with only a hostess snack and apologizes for the credit card since it was only like a $1.33. I laugh and charge his card and have a light conversation with him. He smiles and walks away.5 minutes later he's back in line with a second hostess snack and credit card. I tease him about his obvious sweet tooth and he smiles back, takes his card and walks away.

3-4 minutes later he's back in my line with a third hostess snack. He comes up to the register and says something like this, "Now, this was just an icebreaker, i know you probablly get guys flirting with you all the time (my sister was a cashier and had it happen all the time and hated it) but would you like to go on a date sometime?", "Are you available this weekend?"

I smilied and said that would be great. We swapped phone numbers (and names-- his name is Josh) and now i have a date this coming weekend with the very clever and cute hostess guy named Josh. FUN! :)
