School's Out! FINALLY! :)

Just a few days ago, all the stress of finals, projects, grades, and homework... disappeared! Amazing isn't it! Oh it was so busy and stressful i could barely keep up with anything, which made everything i did not seem quite done to the best of my ability which just makes everything seem worthless! Ahhhh! Well, it's offically over! But soon to start again in a mere week and a half for poor college student, Kacie! *grunt* Hey, i'm excited! BYUi here i come! Since it's been quite a while since i've blogged, here's the brief run down of the family...

Mom- Mom's been amazing, been working difficult and unusual work hours but is surviving fairly well. It was pretty amazing how she was able to manage not only her schedule, but 6 others as well, and still keep everything straight! Wow, I guess i'll never understand how she does it until i get i have kids of my own. It's insane.

Dad- He's AMAZING! He passed his test at work and is now on the list to become sargent. Whooho! His mother did fall and break her hip this past week, she recieved surgery, everything went very smoothly and she's now in recovery. Dad's been going down to the hospital every day for hours on end, then switches off with his brother. Wow, i'm sure any mother would love to have such dedicated sons as my dad. He's amazing!

Justin- He's getting excited about coming home, when we talked with him on mothers day he about died when we told him one of his friends is engaged. :) Had an amazing baptism. Yah, he's doing good.

Me- Well, i'm packing my bags and faith's kicking me out of my room... literally. I've had to take down all my stuff that made my room... look like it was mine, and now... it's all faith. The bullitin board, the pictures. She told me the other day that the only good thing about me leaving is that she finally is getting her own room! Yup, and she's taking advantage of it already. For the past couple nights i've been sleeping on the couch. Just wait till i come home for my winter sememster!

Nate- Awesome. He did well in the state track meet. He recieved 7th in shot put. So happy to be out of school, been working and going to practice. Very excited for his senior year. We just got an invitation to run down and get his senior pictures at Lou Coopey for the yearbook. Why they get your senior pictures at the end of your junior year is beyond me.

Weston- he's been very busy with his eagle project. He did a mother's day fundraiser to earn money to buy kits to make picnic tables for A New Leaf rehab center. He's excelling at the violin and sernades us every evening without fail.

Faith- She's continuing to call everyone in her spare time asking for jobs so she can earn money. she loves coming home and seeing her piggy bank (an empty peanutbutter jar) grow. She's really growing up. Had a party here the other day celebrating the end of the school year with all her friends. Had a lot of fun.

Jacob- he's growing up so fast. I try and grab him when i go to the stores and such because he's just such a fun kid. He's enjoying his summer break and plays with his friends quite frequently. Just yesterday he was playing at his friends house who has chickens in their backyard. he had fun chasing them around but was pretty nervous to actually touch one. funny how that one works?

Thanks for a great run-down on the fam. The Birtchers are busy as ever! It's nice to know what everyone's been up to. I'm laughing at the idea of you sleeping on the couch already! Faith starts earning a little money and she's all grown up, huh?
