Kacie's Art

Well here are the promised photos of my art. Some are really cheezy but hey, it makes my portfolio excited.

This one is a silk screen print that we painted like watercolor. It didn't turn out the way i liked it to because the protection stuff didn't work and the colors bleeded together, but it still made a cool picture.

Any guesses as to who this cowboy is? Well it's kind of hard because it was my first portrait i ever did (just for comparison), it's Weston when he was like 5 or something. This is just a progression shot from where i was and am today. this was begining of my sophmore year.

Oh, and this is my first success picture. Obviously it has some major problems with it (aka: hands look like there on poles, the capital dome is completely out of line, and the intentions of trial and error mistakes) 9th grade

This is some close up shots of my best piece this year. It's Jacob if you couldn't tell and he is wearing justin's helmet. titled: Just like big brother. It won first and $25 dollars for being the best of show in school

another favorite. It's colored pastels. Jake and Faith at the lake
This one was an experiment with a different media, (monoprinting) I call it " Time Out for Billy" to make it a more positive piece. :)

Awesome! I am impressed with your ability to portray people--such a hard thing to do. This is gonna seem funny, but my favorite is the socks! I thought it was amazing.

He he, your funny erin. You liked my socks? :) That was nothing compared to some kids in my class. It's in charcole which is my absolute hated media, too messy. But thank you for the compliments. I guess i need to persue the drawing of socks more. :)
