Such sweet friends

We were just discussing at our dinner table today all the wonderful times we've been recipients of amazingly self-less service that just makes our day or really lifts a burden. Who knew i would be such a recipient just a couple hours later!
My wonderful visiting teacher from last semester surprised me with this beautiful (and very tasty) chocolate cake with a very thoughtful and kind note. She just did it, congratulated me on my calling and that was that.
Such a simple act just made me feel so appreciated and loved. How kind of her to spend the time and effort to make me a cake. I hope I can be just like her and make someone else feel special.
She certainly made me and my roommates very happy.
