Oh the adventures we have

We have a friend that's super into outdoor activities which is great because he likes to grab everyone and make it a group outing. Our latest adventure (besides Sunday bonefires) was to go out to the ice caves! I've been several times and know i've posted about them repeatedly, but i still get a kick out of how amazing they are!

The back roads to get there are half the fun! They really are pretty bad and rough but when you're in a jeep or in the back of a truck, it's like a rollercoster! Lots of smiles before, during, and after that stretch of the journey.

The cave itself isn't very long, only about 5-6 series of caverns, but each one is so unique and provides new challenges like going from crawling in tight spaces to sliding across a smooth stretch of ice (like an ice rink) to climbing and sliding down a slide of ice.

Everyone had a blast and we escaped any serious injuries. This was the earliest in the year i've ever been, there was still snow patches scattered around the front.

Mike brought his guns and a few clays, due to the high wind though he only shot a couple. We put them away after taking a few sassy shots.

Love having cool things to do on the weekends! I would love to take my family when they come up for graduation, I think they'd all get a kick out of the tunnels of ice.

Until next time! We're actually planning on going to Allyssa's cousin's ranch for cattle branding as well as Yellowstone during the first weekend of June. I love summer.
