It's stupid... but hey, it made me feel good

I know it's silly, but i was so happy to be able to put my contact information at the bottom of the email I sent out to the interest professors from the RMPA conference. Maybe because of all the hard work and effort that went into it, it's cool to put YOUR name down for people to contact? Or maybe it's just seeing my name all professional looking- like it means something than just a quick signature at the end of a letter. I am more than just an undergraduate student!
