The RS activities committee asked me to be one of three rotating teachers for our combined RS meeting this coming Saturday. The cool thing is, they asked me to dress up and speak in first person as if i were around during the Savior's time. They left it wide open as to how i could teach it, what character to take on, etc. I've chosen to be Mary Magdelene and i'm really very excited. It really makes me focus on my testimony of my Savior and how to express it through the eyes of someone who actually knew and saw Him personally. After preparing, I'll just follow the spirit and we'll see what comes out during those ten minutes!
We started searching our closets to find era appropriate things for my costume. Think we've got it all figured out. A simple sheet, some fancy ribbon, sandels and a scarf will do! Wish me luck and if any of you have any ideas or advice I would love it!
