Psychology in ACTION!!

Meet Fred.
Fred Diamond.
(We sharpied markings on them to tell them apart- mine was a purple diamond along his back)

He was my baby for about a week. I got to feed him, play with him, even train him to do what i wanted him to do. The class is centered around operant conditioning, or in more basic terms, applying psychology concepts to animals. We get to do rats next!! Fred was an excellent student. He learned to peck the red dot to get food, next he learned how to earn the red dot by pushing the white dot. He's such a smart birdie.
Sadly, due to us restraining their food supply for science, we only were able to keep them for a week. They're still growing birds and need proper tending to (other than college psych students). He will be taken to local farms where he will grow up into a happy and healthy, college educated chicken.
