Just a little update...

I'm not sure how many of you know of my current plans and seeing as i've really slacked off in my blogging habits, im doubtful i told anybody besides family.

For one thing, i'm going into Neuropsychology.
That's right. You can cringe.
It's super hard (It's the brain i'm studying here!) but I'm absolutely enthralled by it!
What is a Neuropsychologist exactly?
Well, this is my textbook definition: "Conducts behavioral tests to determine the abilities and disabilities of people with various kinds of brain damage and changes in their condition over time. Most neuropsychologits have a mixture of psychological and medical training; they work in hospitals and clinics." (Kalat 2009).

I will be working with those with severe head trama, strokes, or other damaging diseases and helping identify what they are capable of and such.

Basically, it takes everything i love about psychology and puts it into one career: research, clinical, medical aspects, challenging, etc. The Lord has been so gracious and has opened so many doors leading me up to this point. Who knows if this is exactly what i'll end up doing but thus far, it seems like a VERY good fit for me. and guess what? BYU-Provo has the exact program i need. Inspriation? I think so. So that's where i am headed until otherwise directed.
Kind of cool, eh?
I'm WAY excited.
