I don't know... what do you wanna do?

[8:00pm night before]
K: "Hey, you interested in going sledding tomorrow?"
FHE bro's: "ok, name a time."
K: "Meet at 8:30 tomorrow morning?"
FHE bro's: "ok, see you then."

That's preeetty much how it went.
Darrik Farmer surprised us by coming back up to Rexburg on Wednesday and I finally got a chance to hang out with him over the weekend. Wasn't sure what to do but a sledding trip to the dunes seemed to be appropriate. Glad it all worked out because it was seriously SO much fun. We're planning another trip next Saturday.
It was kind of an adventure traveling there... but we managed.

We climbed the slick terrain of the snow covered dunes and had a BLAST sledding down the multiple hills. Not that many people have been out there recently so we were carving our own trails and improving the ones already laid out. The boys were super helpful, at one point where we were climbing the face of a huge drop off- i had three boys helping me get up it. One digging in and making foot holes (out of sand granted), one holding my foot from behind, and yet another reaching for my hand and quite literally lifting me out on onto stable (horizontal) ground. What service!!

Afterwards i found little tick marks on my face. The frozen sand had quite literally cut my face as I would skid, slip, and fall into the frozen tundra. So worth it!!
Darrik, being a hungry weary traveler, stayed over and helped me make some BBQ chicken pizza and i quote, "This is the best pizza i've ever had!" -Darrik. Yup, i'm feeling more confident in my cooking abilities.

All in all, a VERY fun filled day.
