Here we go!!

It's nearly 11pm the night before and we finally put the finishing touches on our poster! HOURS have gone into preparing this presentation and now we're ready to go! Two thumbs up for that!
Us and our poster! Waiting for interested students and faculty. This was quite an event, i think there was roughly three different categories for the sciences (social, physical, etc.) and 2 different methods (oral or poster presentation). We had so much fun sharing our study, we got some very good pointers and some great feedback from some experts. Had a BLAST!

Best of all....
Check it... 2nd place baby! WHOO-HO! We won a hundred dollars and two pretty sa-weet certificates! I'm gonna buy it a frame i'm so proud. SOOOoooo... happy with how our project turned out. Couldn't have asked for more. And what a fantastic edition to my resume and grad school applications. 2nd place in Social Sciences Poster Presentation at the BYU-ID Fall 2010 Undergraduate Student Research Conference. Oh yeah!

Next convention: March 31
RMPA convention: April 14

"In talking with our Vice President, we were reviewing each of the study titles and he made the comment, 'You know, i'm glad i went to college when i did, because i could never do this.' This experience will open doors for you. Careers, relationships, colleges, etc. Many of you have done this in addition to your regular studies, and we applaude you. There is nothing more exciting than being on the brink of discovery. Doing something no one else but you has ever thought to do. And you will never understand unless you experience it. Congratulations to you all." -Summary of speaker at the awards ceremony

This is so great!
SCIENCE -- gotta love it.
