Nope. Not that bunny hill...

THIS mountain!!
7 lbs of gourmet ice cream complete with whipped topping and cherries,
hot fudge, nuts, and strawberries on the side.

Thursday night. G-pa sends the G-kids this text
(in his all too classic all capitol letter message)
"HEY ALL G-KIDS, ANYBODY AVAILABLE FOR A MTN PARTY TOMORROW NIGHT?"
Hmm.. Mtn. Party.
I figured it would be like last time where we went up in Gramps then new truck to South Mountain and ate pizza, and played games at the top in the bed of his truck.
"HECK YES!"
Funny, i'm throwing on my tennie shoes and old jeans expecting the first mountain, not a delicious monstrous mountain to be conquered with spoons! (though i was equally thrilled!) Guess i should've check the itinerary.
Grandma and Grandpa bravely loaded 9 of the G-kids onto the new light rail metro system traveling to the middle of Phoenix to a little ice cream shop that i came to find out, is quite famous in the Hakes family (they would go there at the conclusion of tax season). We had to walk a little ways from the light rail station through a dark, scary neighborhood. Come to find out, neither Brent nor Weston was willing to take a bullet for me...
How comforting.
Needless to say, all had a wonderful time and came home with stuffed bellies and a satisfied sweet tooth.
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!
