Our apartment is known all throughout the complex as the one that has the way cool, pretty awesome, amazing giant gumball machine. It's pretty sweet if i do say so myself. But that was it! That was our only decor so to say, besides the LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE letters on our other wall, and I was so tired of it!! I need more color in my life!
So after school one day i ran to the media lab (3rd floor of the library) and purchased 17 feet of baby blue construction paper (all under $3). An hour later, i had completely wall papered our living room wall! (thank goodness for sticky tack! Made the job so much easier) That was boring, just being blue, so i grabed my construction paper and cut out a bazillion circles (by tracing little plates, cups and water bottle lids). Then overlapped, tucked, and stuck them carefully in the two corners of our room. It looks darling and ties in our main attraction.
Ah, the living room is a much more fun place now. All the roomies approve, AND we get a lot more company nowadays- now that our room is even more awesomer!
*Sigh* I'm happily content now.
