Social Dance Competition

(I'm truely sorry that these pictures are not all that great, i've been having to use my phone's camera.)

This Saturday was the traditional dance competition for all the dance classes. It's very simple- just partner up with someone about a week or two in advance, dress up a little, line up, then come out to the dance floor. It's required for the grade, but what was really exciting was that we (Brett Kingston and I) kept getting called back! We made it to the final 6 and ended up taking 4th place!
Oh it was so much fun! I really enjoyed myself and Brett is truely a talented dancer. Funny though, he only signed up for the class to get another credit- absolutely hated dancing in front of people, yet ended up being the top dancer in our class! Only two couples made it to the finals from our class, and Brett and I placed the highest out of them.
Who knew i could dance? :)
I was complimented on my underarm turns and shashe moves. It was overall very surprising and very rewarding to have placed 4th!
