Well, after making pie, dinner, watching a movie, and playing card games: we were still in need of a spontaneous adventure. I randomly threw in the idea that we should go to the dunes, not really believing we would go, but everyone wanted to so we went! We just brought flashlights and a camera- wanting to merely run and jump off the mountains of endless piles of sand! We got some good air, and a LOT of sand in our shoes! After playing and running hard through the soft sand, we became very cold and asked to join in on one of the many campfires around the area. They were all cool when we asked to simply borrow some of their warmth- they even offered us smores! All of them were fellow BYU-Idaho students so it was fun and we met a few new friends.
It was so much fun that Dallin (with the truck) is already planning more events centered around the dunes on an afternoon when we have more time.
