Well, it's been a while since i've updated. Sorry! But once i explain, i'm sure you'll understand.
So yes, i'm back in my home away from home... Rexburg. This semseter i moved all my things to a cute little townhouse just up the road from my last apartment. It has a fireplace! I share it with 3 other amazing girls. We didn't know each other coming in but have hit it off from the very start. Love 'em.
Classes actually started 2 weeks ago. I'm an off track student so all my classes are later in the evening. My 2 online courses are great. Just a lot of work. Work started then too, it's been fun- well we're making it fun. :) I actually work an on campus job in the back of the kitchen. Yes, i'm a dishwasher... but hey! In a town this small and with such a large student body, i'm just happy to have a job! There are quite a few who have yet to find an available opening anywhere.
The first week back i was extended the calling of co-chair FHE Coordinator for the 5th ward. Nate Smith and I had to put together FHE families and call all the Ma's and Pa's. Wow, it was a lot of work! Nate and I have come together for hours at a time figuring it out- recieving inspiration and such, sharing cookies and milk... ya. We just got the list approved and now it's in to Bishop! *Phew* We are on the Bishops Committee so we have to wake up at the crack of dawn for a meeting before church... but that's ok. The walk there is beautiful, cold, but beautiful.
Oh the weather, yes it's been cold. My first day here it was in the negatives... that was interesting. :)
But it's warmed up to the 20's and 30's so it's been nice. It snowed consistently at first but it's been a few days since the last snowfall.
I'm meeting so many new friends it's been great! There was a campus wide welcome back dance the first weekend back, had fun there. That Sunday we had an amazing CES fireside broadcast with Pres. Monson as the speaker. I would look it up- he spoke some amazing words. Have to love him, very funny. Afterwards had a few friends come over for some hot chocolate and get this! My roommate made homemade chocolate chip banana bread- from scratch! Oh it was good. Played games till everyone started complaining of homework. :)
Monday we have school off, thank goodness. I've been so busy with work and callings and such it's put my book reading a little bit behind.
Last weekend my roommates and I all went to Comedy Improv. It had 4 people improvising which was funny. The main guy in the RM was in it as well as a guy from Single's Ward. A student here on campus improvised on the piano as they did there random acts on stage. Had to admire how he could do it. Wow. Then this weekend my friend from work invited me to go to Barrage with him. It's a violin concert thing but they dance around stage while they're playing the violins. Very impressive- i kept cringing though as they would use their bows to pretend to fight or they were twirling them throught the air as they danced... Do you know how expensive they are?! One wrong hit and there goes +$1000. Well, they were well trained. My friend walked me home and stayed for hot chocolate.
Hmmm... what else is there. Oh ya, my ward is participating in baptisms for the dead this Wednesday. All my roommates are attending. Haven't been inside yet so looking forward to that.
Ya, that's pretty much life right now. I close by saying this... Life's busy.

Whew! You've got lots going on, but it all sounds really fun and you sure have jumped right back into things. When I met Randy he was serving as the FHE coordinator in his UCLA student ward. Only difference was, they had ONE family. For the WHOLE university! See why he had to branch out and find a BYU girl? :)
Enjoy Winter Semester!
YOU WENT TO SEE BARRAGE????
I'm think I'm dying with jealousy right now. I love them.
But it's great to hear about all the wonderful things going on in your life!
