Christmas with the Hakes!

The cast for the Nativity this year was such: (oh, Grandma called me and put me in charge so i had a blast dividing up the parts!)

Faith/ Cody- Mary & Joseph
Weston/ Brent- sheep & donkey
Justin/ David/ Nate- 3 wise men? (I wouldn't give 'em that title but they played their parts well)
Ryan/ Jacob- shepards
Emily- angel
Kc- narrator

We had Weston play "Mary's Lullaby" on his new violin and jump in with Jacob during "Silent Night" (Jake on piano). Jennie so willingly sung "Hark the Hareld Angels Sing" for us which turned out beautiful.

We had some visitor with us that evening and they all excitedly jumped into shepard and angel costumes. Their names escape me but we're related some how. :)

White elephant was very entertaining as usual. Having Justin home was really nice! Gary and Lisa's group came and went, they were visiting their other side as well that evening.

I love the new picture in your header. Hilarious.
Thanks for posting these pictures of the family party, though w/ the underwear, nativity, and white elephant game, I had a pretty good idea of exactly how it would go, even without the pictures! Gotta love traditions. Way to sport the undies Dani Lyn!
