Ahh!! Luggage!

So last night i woke up in a sweat having a rather amusing nightmare.

I was still in Idaho with all that end of the semester stress, when what do you know? It's my last day! My bags are all packed, apartment all boxed up- I'm out the door! I was in a group where we were being dropped off at the airport.

We piled our luggage into the back of someones pickup. I grab my carry on, sit it on my lap and check to make sure my flight and tickets and such are all ready to go. The excitement of going home was almost tangible!
We drive for about an hour and the pick ups drop all of us off at the baggage check in. I turn around to see 2-3 other guys lifting my extremely heavy, x-large boxes from my apartment and setting them down by the check out services.

Now realizing that i forgot to mention that i had to drop off these boxes and containers at my new apartment in Hillcrest, i was stuck with all of them standing here at the airport with my flight leaving within the hour!!!

I don't want to take these home!

I step up to the counter and the nice service, baggage check-in lady was all smiles and kindly asked me which one's I'd like to check in.

Now with the recent baggage fee where they charge for the first bag and like double for the second, and triple for the third, etc. I was all a sweat! I can't afford to take these home even if i wanted to! The weight limits the shear size of them put together, gah! The cost would be ghastly! It seemed that my boxes and tubs were enlarging at the same pace that my heart rate was beating! Ahhh! What was i to do?

So in this dream i come up with several alternatives, i could ask these nice people who dropped us off to take these now massive containers back to my new apartment and place them in storage, i could frantically rush over and do it myself- i don't know if i could make my flight by then, would these nice people do it if i asked them and explained my situation, is that too big of a task to ask them to do for me?.... I don't know! I'm freaking out, and start re-packing my things. I open the first lid of the box nearest me and find that in my haste i had just thrown things in and that it wasn't full at all! So i start combining and restuffing boxes trying to get rid of a few of these embarrassingly big containers... when i turn around and who should magically appear?
My daddy!
I stare at him and plead, "Can you take these back for me?" He says sure, and he starts taking them out to the truck while i race to catch my flight! I glace back and shout, "I'll see you at home!" and he says like he shrugging his shoulders, "Sure".

Well, i woke up and was all stressed out again, for no practical reason at all! I had to laugh of it's comic humor of course! So much for a good night's sleep...
