A Tendor Moment...

I finished the drawing of the two little redheads on Wednesday and it turned out beautiful! I was proud of it but i still needed my clients to review it one final time before i sprayed it and took the preservation steps. So i called and made the appointment which was thanksgiving day at 2pm. I arrive on time and can see in the parent's faces that they have been looking forward for this moment- i'll admit, i was excited too! So i pull from my black porfolio the finished piece and the mother's eyes become moist. (Now if you remember, my neighbor hired me to do this piece for her daughter of her two little girls, Katie and Alisa) She couldn't believe how well i had captured their beautiful faces and gave each of them their correct personalities. I was touched. The dad was very excited and appreciative as well. A few minutes later, my neighbor (the two little girl's grandmother) arrived and started tearing up as well. She too was very pleased. Together they caught only a few errors which i'll be able to fix in only a couple minutes. I'll post the finished product as soon as i complete it. It was a tendor moment. I still can't believe my work made two lady's cry with emotion. I mean, i was pleased with it but it meant a whole lot more for those women. wow
