Oh a hiking we will go....

 

For my Fit for Life class we have to attend an outdoor event sponsored by BYUi. So my two other friends and i got together and we signed up to attend the Kelly Canyon hike for Nov 15. Well, we get to were we are supposed to met and turns out for whatever reason, we can't go on the original hike- but will go on an alternative one that's located just 20 minutes away.

Well, turns out it was more of a nature walk than an actual hike. I was a little disappointed but hey, i still get credit for class. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! Like an crisp AZ morning in the Fall.

 

I had to laugh because when i was getting ready for the original hike (it was supposed to be an eight hour ordeal. 3 hours there, 2 hour hike, 3 hours back) I packed like dad! I wasn't sure of the weather so i pack an extra jacket,etc. I packed a good lunch, and bought some extra waterbottles, I threw in my first aid kid and flashlight. My backpack was full but i didn't end up using any of it because the trail we ended up going on was just a little bunny hill. :) Had a lot of fun though! We walked by the Snake river and got some great photo opportunites.
