TOGA Party

Let us go back to a simpler time, full of grace, sophistication and higher learning....

... Or we could just make it a dance party! Once again we had a themed party (Greek/Roman) moving up from Egypt to our friends in the North. Wow, it was a lot of fun! Sarah and I really got into our costumes. We spend about two hours before hand curling and twisting our hair, arranging and pinning our bed sheets and fabric, and digging through our drawers for assesories! You'd think Halloween just came early!
My costume consisted of a bed sheet, some tassel stuff (found it for a dollar at Wal-Mart), and Sarah's flowery broach and my butterfly headpin.
Sarah's consisted of some golden greek ribbon ($1 at Wal-mart), the fabric she's going to use for her sewing class, and a skirt/dress that's half finished. Oh, and don't forget those way fun sandels! She's been able to use those a lot for these type of parties.
All in all, we just had a really great time. It was over at our friend's dorm again, they have so many fun and exciting decorations and lights, etc. Makes for great parties. :) Just crank the music and bring a few cookies and we're set! :)
