My art teacher is really quite wonderful. I've learned so much in just the past few weeks than i ever had in all my high school courses. I've really learned to see with my eyes, see how objects are built, and how to really get the movements in a drawing. I've absolutely thrilled! I know my pieces will be even better now that I'm in this class... but that's not the good news though it is certainly part of it. :)

So the first day of class our teacher, Bro. Call, shows us some of the many examples of past students work, describing the goods and bad's of them, and finishing by telling us what grade the teacher gave it. Very few received an A. Here there is a difference in GPA points from an A to an A-. Most received high B's or low A's.

Well today we received back our three pieces we turned it...

I was pretty curious to see my scores so i rush over to the piles, pull mine out, flip it over to the back, and.... I received two A's and an -A! So happy. An "A" means their is nothing left to fix- it's basically a perfect piece!

I'm so excited! Let's hope i can keep it at that level through out the semester! :)
