Sadies

March 8, 2008

Sadies. The really fun casual dance that everyone dresses all crazy for. Had a really great time. Planning was so easy and nice because we all sat down, figured out what we wanted to do, figured out the costs per each activity, voted, then gave the money to two girls who completely did the whole dinner, day activity, dance, and night activity arrangements. Oh it was the best thing in the world to just show up, having paid for everything before hand (it was fairly cheap too if i might add) and just have fun. I took a good friend named John Gardner. He's really smart so when we went to Castles N' Coasters, he was providing me with all the physics behind the rides. :) The dance was pretty fun. He wasn't much of a dancer though so i only made him dance one slow song with me. :) He was a good sport though. Night activity was really simple and fun. Someone in our group had a coupon to rent those blow up bouncy things, so we had that and a cotton candy machine someone had. It was really just a come and do what every you want kind of deal. Totally worked for us cuz we were beat after a long day. David Hakes was in my group (By the way, my group had approximately 22 couples). It was a little funny cuz he's never been in a group of mine before.

This next picture perfectly portrays Nate's first date.

The girl who asked him is in our ward and is just a little bit weird. love her to death, she's in my laurel's class, but she was the last person i could see with my brother on a date. Granted, in this picture she put the glasses on because she thought it would be funny but still, it's just about right. Nate had a very interesting night...

Saddle up boys! These are just some of my guy friends.
