Lazy Days

Well here it is! Oh i'm so excited. After days of frusterating efforts and messed up lines it finally came out all right. Oh i had the worst time on faith's face. It's just the slightly angled face that messed all my proportions. I remember, i had everything done except for the pizza and the background , i just had her face to finish. Then low and behold my proportions get off just a little bit and faith looks like a monkey! Oh i was so mad! Here i spent days and it was turning out SOOOooo well and i destroyed it within minutes! I wanted to cry! Well, with much encouragement and help from my mom and my art teacher, we (...well I) pulled through. And just look at it! I'm glowing with how well it turned out! Faith face still doesn't look exactly like her, but seriously, if you saw the before and after- you'd be crying, thankful that it turned out alright! It's done with Prisma Colored Pencils on Stonehedge paper (good quality stuff- perserves it better) I'm giving it to my parents as a pre-thank you for their future financial assistance they will give me through college. We estimated that with this piece along with i think 3 others, they have over a thousand dollars worth of art. Not bad to have an artist for a daughter. :)
