Thrifty chic

Monday was a great labor free day! We went to Grandparents house where we harrassed him some more about being retired and how much time he has off now and all that he can get done. So i was getting pretty bored cuz the boys decided to put on some ww2 movie and i was totally not into,(too much killing for my taste) and i left my book at home, what was i to do! Go shopping of course! :) Hey i'm a girl. So my dad and i went to the Savers just by there house. Such a cool place because all the rich people in the neighborhood don't know what a washing machine is, therefore, they donate all their million dollar clothes after they've worn them once(some with the original price tag still on it) and i get to buy them at extremely reduced prices! how about $3 for a Charolette Russe Shirt, $3 for a B. Darlin dress, and $2 for a really cute skirt that i'm using for my halloween costume (Hairspray- the musical)! I scored baby! That's the same thrift store that i bought my gorgeous ball gown! ($13.50) and the fuffy skirt thing underneath ($8). I'm planning on wearing it to winter formal. If you have seen the movie A Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff, yah, just like her dress but in pink. :) So gorgeous. I still can't believe the good finds there. I think my mom went there and outfitted all the boys in my family, and i'm not kidding, with brand new suits for church for around $75-80. :) Muy Bein! Anyways, i had a lot of fun thrift shopping with my dad yesterday. I spent 10 and saved probabbly around 40. :) I love life. :)
