Back to School!

Nate, all around good guy. Joins the juniors at school. Having a blast seeing his friends and not being the baby at school anymore. You see junior year is the best because you aren't the baby and yet you don't have the responsiblitity of a senior, though it has been known to be your hardest year.... i didn't notice anything my year. Note from the fabulous Kacie, I pick out his clothes... yah i know i'm good. :) Mom paid for it and i shopped! It's a job i can live with.

Fabulous Faith, having so much fun in third grade though she's already been caught talking... HA! nobody's perfect. :) My english teacher says the only reason for having to raise your hand in school is to keep the younger kids under control. (he won't let us raise hands in his classroom) So far, loving every minute of it. Carrying the Birtcher name to Poston is this guy... Wes. He has a legacy to live up too, (as Nate so frequently reminds him about) Nate's been giving him tips on which teachers to avoid, those he has to get to know, and which coaches to get close too. He can't wait for Poston and Mountain View Football to start. Nate's been telling him all the tips on how to be a better football player. A lot of people come up to him and ask him if he is Nate's brother. Some he dosen't even know. So he's got to do the same for Jake.
Lovable Jake. Need i say more? He loves his teacher ___(her name escapes me, my apologizes) and hanging out with his friends everyday. The most annoying thing is that he's done with his homework in like 10 seconds flat, then get's to watch tv or whatever else he's interested in! wow, those were the days. :) He's very paticular about his looks as he get's ready in the morning. He'll come out in an outfit and asks if it matches and accepts suggestions. For example, the other day he had a shirt like this but it was orange with navy blue and orange basketball shorts, we told him tan shorts would look better so off he goes to change his shorts. :) Touch his hair and your dead, litterally. :) We love our little jakey.

And there's me... wow, first day, mounds of homework and everyday since. College is not nice to social life. :) I do get to go off campus to eat lunch which is a plus, that's about how far my normal life goes. This year my previous art teacher retired unexpectantly, (thank goodness!) and our new one is SOOOOOooo.. much better. She actually let's us draw what we want to draw! Amazing! with some requirements of course. :) There is no picture of me to display because i was powdering my face at the time. :) Can't waste even a minute. I get to drive and drop off kids this year which is fun. The kids love it, and so do I. Can't drive friends yet, but that's a completly different topic... parent's rule. My English teacher is insane! He expects us to memorize at least a 100 words a week for a vocab test on friday along with preparing for the next day's discussion AND expects us to read at least 3 novels/classics per couple months. So hard but life's not fun without a challenge. :) That's about it, we'll keep ya posted.

Love these updates on all of you. This is such good family history. If you hadn't already finished your YW Recognition Award when you were like 8 (ha, ha), you could count this as a project. By the way, did you know there are ways to get your blog printed? You can format it for printing at home or for professional printing. Having it all online is so great, but just in case technology changes in the future, you could always print it (or at least some of your more favorite posts, like this one, that gives such a great summary of each one of you.) Does your mom check your blog? Is Justin allowed to? Hope she's proud of you! I am. ;)
