Apache Lake

wow, what a trip. A blast all around. I do admit it was a bit hot during the day but it was gorgeous and totally worth it. We got there and settled into our suite (the tv had cable, a luxury we have yet to get, we all now addicted to Discovery Channel), fairly big, comfortable fit with all of us and the baggage. It's so nice to get up when we want, chill on the lake for a few hours; once it gets hot... turn around and retreat to the great AC suite, go back out for a few hour. Oh funny story... well sort of, our first time on the lake, we put the boat in, about to take off and the control thing was all wobbly and basically disabled our boat. We were all like " great, we plan a week vacation for the lake and our boat breaks!" So we chilled out on the beach that afternoon while dad cheacked it all out, expecting a $700+ repair job in the morning... but, he fixed it. So we are all extremely gratiful, prayers do get answered.

This is our newest toy. :) what a blast. It's very sturdy so there's no fear of flipping out (though somehow nate managed to- no idea how :) ). great for the kids. At this point in the picture, i think dad was taking it easy and the ride wasn't very entertaining (us kids like the near death experiences- dad caught on fast and provided a reasonable ride- you can see faith's hand in the signal for faster).

This is what we saw every day for our "dinner cruise". So pretty.

This was fun to watch. Doubles became a favorite event of the day.

And of course, had to end with ME! the master of single skiing!
