Young at Art Contest
Congrats to me! In the annual Young at Art Contest where all the Mesa Junior and High Schools participate i recieved first in acrylics and third for my pastel drawing. (I'll post pictures as soon as i get them back.) It was particularly exciting to hear my pastel drawing was nominated to recieve the overall Best of Show award. I didn't get it but hey, if a proffessional artist (judge) is recognizing my work, that's quite and accomplishment. I'm really excited. My work along with other winners and works of art will be displayed in the Mountain View's art show in the library (second floor), coming up in May. Will be great!
